Browse 2,689 Care Quality Commission registered locations across England, organised by what kind of service they provide. Each section has a regional breakdown, phone numbers and a link to the official CQC record. Figures are real CQC data (as of 2026-06-12).
Quick answer
This directory covers 2,689 CQC-registered locations in England across 6 service types. The CQC rates each location Outstanding, Good, Requires improvement or Inadequate — it does not use a star or 0–5 score, so this directory shows no numeric rating. Always check a specific provider's own CQC report at cqc.org.uk.

Methodology
Figures are computed from real Care Quality Commission records. A location registered for more than one service type is counted under each section it belongs to, so the per-section totals overlap and are never summed into a single grand total — the 2,689 headline is a de-duplicated count of distinct locations. Every number is an exact count of registered locations; CQC publishes a categorical inspection scheme (Outstanding / Good / Requires improvement / Inadequate), never a 0–5 numeric scale, so we show no average and no AggregateRating. Data as of 2026-06-12.
