Terms of Service

Medical Emergency Notice
GeraClinic is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (999 in the UK, 112 in the EU) immediately.
1. Introduction
GeraClinic is operated by Gera Systems (registered in England and Wales). These Terms of Service govern your use of geraclinic.com and our mobile applications.
By registering or using GeraClinic you confirm you are at least 18 years old (or 16 with verifiable parental consent), have read these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.
2. Our Services
GeraClinic is a digital health platform connecting patients with licensed healthcare professionals for video consultations, electronic prescriptions, lab test bookings, and AI-assisted symptom checking. GeraClinic is an intermediary platform — we are not a healthcare provider. Doctors and clinicians on the platform are independent professionals responsible for their own clinical decisions.
- Video consultations — with GMC-registered doctors (UK) or locally licensed physicians (international)
- AI Symptom Checker — informational triage only; not a diagnosis tool; not a medical device
- Lab test booking — with accredited laboratory partners
- Electronic prescriptions — issued by doctors following consultation where clinically appropriate
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate, complete registration information
- Minimum age: 18 (or 16 with parental consent; under 13 strictly prohibited)
- One account per person; do not share your account
- Notify us immediately at support@geraclinic.com of any unauthorised access
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
4. Medical Disclaimer and Patient Consent
By booking a consultation, you give informed consent for the consultation and the sharing of relevant health information with your chosen clinician.
- GeraClinic does not provide emergency medical care
- The AI Symptom Checker is informational only and does not constitute a medical opinion
- Doctors on GeraClinic exercise independent clinical judgment; Gera Systems is not liable for clinical decisions
- Prescriptions are issued at the sole discretion of the treating physician
- Telemedicine has inherent limitations compared to in-person consultations
5. Healthcare Professional Terms
Doctors and other healthcare professionals registering on GeraClinic confirm that they:
- Hold a valid, current licence to practise in their operating jurisdiction
- Are in good standing with their relevant regulatory body (e.g., GMC in the UK)
- Carry appropriate professional indemnity insurance
- Will maintain proper clinical records and comply with their professional obligations
- Will not practise outside their scope of competence or jurisdiction
5A. Recruiter and Employer Visibility (Doctors)
GeraClinic separately offers a paid recruiter/employer product: when a doctor opts in via the visibility toggle in account settings, selected profile fields (name, specialty, experience, licensing stage, residence country, work-destination preference) become discoverable to paying recruiter and employer subscribers based in the UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, or Qatar. Full detail — recipient categories, retention, and how to object — is set out in our Privacy Policy, Section 5A.
By registering as a doctor, you also agree that:
- GeraClinic never charges doctors a fee to find them work. Charging a work-seeker for finding them employment is a criminal offence under the Employment Agencies Act 1973, section 6. Any paid GeraClinic services for doctors (education, exam-prep, profile tools) are funded by doctors choosing to buy them, never by introduction fees.
- GeraClinic does not provide, and does not charge for, immigration advice. Content about visa routes, licensing exams, or relocation pathways is general information only, not advice on your individual immigration case.
- Paid services and introductions are never conditional on each other. Buying a paid GeraClinic product is never required to be visible to recruiters, and being introduced to a recruiter or employer is never required to use a paid GeraClinic product.
- If your registered country of residence is on the UK/WHO Code of Practice red list (currently Pakistan and Bangladesh), GeraClinic does not actively refer, match, or introduce your profile to a specific UK vacancy for a fee. Your profile may still be shown to GCC-registered subscribers, and UK-based subscribers may see general pathway information that lets you choose to make a direct application yourself. See Privacy Policy Section 5A.5.
- You may withdraw from recruiter/employer visibility at any time using the visibility toggle in account settings.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not use GeraClinic to:
- Obtain prescriptions by providing false or misleading health information
- Misrepresent your identity or medical qualifications
- Share your account or allow others to book consultations under your name
- Record consultations without explicit consent from the clinician
- Engage in any unlawful activity
7. Payment Terms
Consultation fees are displayed before booking. Payment is processed by Stripe. GeraClinic charges a platform fee on each transaction (percentage shown at checkout).
Refunds: If a doctor cancels or fails to attend, a full refund is issued automatically. If you cancel within 24 hours of a scheduled consultation, you may receive a partial refund per our Refund Policy. No-shows are non-refundable. UK consumers retain statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for bookings not yet fulfilled.
8. Intellectual Property
All platform content, software, trademarks, and materials are owned by or licensed to Gera Systems. “GeraClinic” and “Gera” are trademarks of Gera Systems. You may not reproduce or redistribute our content without written consent.
9. Disclaimers
The platform is provided “as is.” Gera Systems disclaims all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, accuracy of clinical information, or the quality of independent clinicians' services.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim or £50. We exclude all liability for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015).
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes should first be raised with us at legal@gera.services. If unresolved after 30 days, either party may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. UK consumers may also use courts in their local jurisdiction.
12. Changes to These Terms
We will notify you of material changes by email and platform notice at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
